Hello,

My name is Terra and I have been painting, refinishing furniture, wallpapering and faux painting for about 23 years now. My father is a life long artist and operates his own art gallery. He has been an inspiration and I learned many of my initial skills thanks to him. I spent several years working for a national home improvement store franchise. While working there I was flown to North Carolina to study faux painting while taking course work. I then returned to Ohio to teach employees at other stores these techniques that I had learned. Also during my time there I had the oppurtunity to condcut various how-to clinics to showcase these techniques.

I am always learning new techniques to offer to my clients. When a new potential client calls for an initial meeting we discuss their likes and dislikes. I then put together some ideas starting with my paint samples, photo albums and color fan decks. I take the time to visit the jobsite with the client and review the ideas we discussed. After we have reviewed both our ideas again on site, I take that additional information to my workshop and develope several sample boards for our next meeting. Once the sample boards are complete I take them to the client so that they can take some time to decide what their final decission is.
